Lets see…I was born to Karen and Jim Jaquess in small town outside of Richmond, Virginia December 11, 1980. Grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia with my younger sister
Regina. My parents were into waterskiing, it’s just what they did as a couple. As years went by both my parents got more involved with the sport as athletes and as volunteers for the organizations. Regina and I were blessed to have such cool parents whose idea of a good time was hanging out at the lake every second they could. So before I could swim with out a life vest (on my own) I was waterskiing. Regina and I grew up with waterskiing. We started competing at a young age and the rest is history. So many people to thank and so many people I am completely grateful for in my life. I do thank my parents for giving us the opportunities that have created our lives. And to everyone in the waterskiing family and the wake family, thank you.
I moved out to the Projects and started wakeskating right after my 24th birthday with Brandon Thomas and Ryan Doyle. Those guys have seen me go through everything. My role at the Projects back then was the camp cook, cleaner, coach, driver, office, and slave labor…haaaaa! Through it all, I would never trade it for what I have gained from it. Pat Panakos who has been not only someone who has taught me the importance of Christ and Christ involvement in my life but who has given me a home the last three years and taught me so many things beside wakeskating. So Pat, thank you. The Byerly family, Lidberg, Robby, Karen, Paul, BT, Doyle, Wade, Rossi, Ellen, and Pat and Courtney; THANK YOU!
At the moment…I am promoting/Advertising/Selling
Volume Wakeskate Videos. So if anyone has questions about anything contact me now….I just won the 2007 RockStar Pro Women Wakeskate World Championships in Reno, NV! I want to thank my sponsors UGP (underground products), Performance Ski and Surf, and The Projects. My goal with the website is to network. I am passionate about Women Ridding, about Wakeskating, and about Life. There are lot of good women wakeskater’s out there and there is always room for more, so if you want to get involved, girl or guy, contact me and I will try to push you in the right directions!
